Pro Tips to Boost Your SAP Sapphire Orlando 2025 Experience

Planning your trip ✈️

  • Book your Hotel: Choose a stay within a short walking distance from the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC), Orlando. Check the map of official hotels. You can easily book your stay through the event registration portal. Pro tip: If you book an official hotel, you can use the free shuttle service between the OCCC and all official conference hotels. Exception: those hotels that are close to the conference center.
  • Parking: If you plan to drive to the event, the conference registration is on the south side of the building. So, you should use the south parking area at the OCCC. Parking is first-come, first-served, including accessible parking. The parking fee is $20.00 plus tax for standard vehicles and $40.00 plus tax for oversized vehicles. Check out parking details
  • Plan your week: Check the different activities scheduled throughout the week. Note that Monday, May 19, is reserved for hosted evening events by partners. The official expo hall and sessions will run from Monday, May 19, to Wednesday, May 21.
  • Check the FAQ: SAP does a great job at getting most common questions answered here.

Before you go 🎒

  • Schedule your sessions: The session catalog is regularly updated. Add the SUSE customer case study: Lessons learned during Whirlpool’s SAP-based migration to the cloud – PAR1184 to your schedule: Tuesday, May 20, 3:30 p.m. EDT
Pro tip: Browse early and add ‌your favorite sessions to your agenda, to avoid missing out. Use the filters to find sessions by speaker, track or session type.
  • Plan your meetings: Maximize your time by checking the Sponsor list. Book your meeting with SUSE today. Target sponsors who offer solutions relevant to your needs. Pro tip: Take your time while navigating the expo area. Want to talk to someone about the most secure Linux for your SAP workloads or how you can leverage containerized solutions for SAP environments? Connect with SUSE to schedule a meeting with our experts or just come by our SUSE booth #442.
  • What to wear?: The event guidelines say the dress code is business casual. But comfort is key! Pro tip: Wear comfortable shoes and something that makes you feel like yourself. I have seen jeans, skirts, t-shirts, dresses, suits, it’s very open!
  • Download the app: The SAP Sapphire Orlando app is your essential companion for navigating the event, scheduling sessions, finding food, and connecting with attendees. Pro tip: Registered attendees will be notified via email when the app is ready to download.
The app for SAP Sapphire in 2025 will be released to the SAP Events mobile app Container available in the Apple and Google Play stores before the event dates.

At the event 📍

  • Pick up your badge early: You’ll receive your badge upon check-in at the South Concourse of the OCCC (opening at 7 a.m.) or at Orlando International Airport (Baggage Claim A-5, B-24, B-29│Sunday, May 18: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Monday, May 19: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.) after providing your photo ID. Once you have your badge, don’t lose it. You must have a badge to enter all official areas of the event.
  • Where to get breakfast and coffee?: Grab breakfast at your hotel to avoid long lines near the convention center.
  • Arrive early for the Keynote: The opening keynote is a thing you don’t want to miss. It really sets the tone for the event. Secure a good spot for the opening keynote on Tuesday, May 20, starting at 8:30 a.m.
  • Snacks and drinks: Stay hydrated at the various drink stations throughout the venue, but consider bringing your own refillable water bottle. While healthy snacks and fruits are provided, they’re not substantial enough to replace a meal.
To bridge the time to the celebration night, get some roasted nuts on Wednesday, May 21, in the afternoon. You will find the snack cart in the show floor area close to Theaters 15 and 16.
  • Explore the expo hall: You’ll find partner booths in the North Concourse as well as the session theaters. Don’t miss the SUSE booth (#442) to see business solutions in action. These solutions let you manage your SAP workloads in the cloud, on-premises‌ and in hybrid and multi-cloud environments safely. Pro tip: Balance your time between sessions and the expo hall to maximize your experience.
  • Attend the sessions: Take notes during sessions and connect with the expert speakers afterward. Pro tip: Don’t miss the chance to talk to them. Stay until the end of their session and talk to them, introduce yourself‌ and ask any questions.
  • Take a break: Take a break, but do it near a lounge area where you can connect with others. Pro tips: Coffee stations are great places to meet people as you wait for a drink. Or come hang out at the SUSE booth (#442) where you can talk to our experts!
  • Wireless access: WiFi will be available at the OCCC. The SSID and password will be provided on the back of your conference badge. Pro tip: Bring a power bank to keep your devices charged.
  • Share your experience: Share, share and share on social media what you are seeing live! This is great for personal branding and don’t forget to tag the speakers and #SAPSapphire #suse.
